Charles Schad is Director of KnowHow Inc. and the Knowledge Continuity Center, an organization providing the latest resource for training, consulting, and research regarding the leverage of untapped intellectual resources. He continually assists public and private organizations in building better ways to work and succeed in the competitive marketplace.

Charles has been at the forefront of the knowledge consulting business for over 20 years. He has been the chief architect on over 150 knowledge projects for Fortune 500 companies, public utilities and state and Federal agencies. These projects have ranged in scope and complexity from systems and business training to knowledge repositories of up to a million screens. He has also successfully developed and led many national seminars on topics ranging from Knowledge Continuity to Collaboration and Leadership Skills. He has worked extensively in insurance, financial services, manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceuticals and law enforcement.

Charles' major strengths include the ability to harness corporate knowledge in all types of enterprises and effectively managing in-house and contract staff so that they work together effectively and productively. He has made his mark analyzing enterprise knowledge culture and providing solutions that are sensible, timely and cost-effective. Other areas of expertise include translating and presenting complex material into comprehensible language, organizing fragmented, chaotic corporate knowledge into coherent repositories and developing KC strategies to unearth, capture and sustain corporate knowledge that can grow and strengthen over time.

Charles was a Dean's List student at the University of Connecticut and finished with a BA in English and History. He has also attended the University of Connecticut, University of California and Fairfield University graduate programs and is a certified Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) facilitator.
